Installed a Road Race Motorsports Light Weight Pulley to smooth out the torque band. Dropped 1.5 lbs of rotational mass.
Installed a new RRM Torsion Bar and Front Cassie Braces. This should be every Fiats 1st upgrade! Car is nice and flat thru the corners now
Installed a set of Rally Armor Mud-flaps. Mostly to keep the tire shine off the side of the car. Was a straight forward install... Why is every-time you get down on the ground, the part/tool you need is on the bench? Picked up a EuroCompulsion v4 Cold Air Intake (& 2015+ Fitment kit) from Chris over at EuroCompulsion. Great Guy, Great Company... Will do business with the again in the future. These are the best installation instructions on the web: http://imgur.com/a/xtK02 (Credit K.D.) Had issues with the intake hose staying connected to the air filter (the hose on the right in this photo). Mike at Track Minded Performance suggested I spray the inside of the hose with a small amount of hair spray. Seems to have done the trick! over 100 miles of hard driving and no issues. Wrapped a new Road Race Motorsports Down-pipe with DEI Header wrap. Sprayed it black with DEI High Temp Header Paint. And baked it in the oven at 475 for 30 minutes to cure the spray. The wife really loved the idea of me putting a car part in her oven. But it did a great job. Install note: I wanted a nice tight wrap. So, I used a few sewing pins to tighten up the wrap in some of the bins. Post install note: The down-pipe with the stock Abarth exhaust is load. Stopped by B-Spec on 'Dyno Tuesday' to get a baseline.
Bone stock, Just out of the break in period. Little less than I expected but, a dyno is just a measuring stick anyways. |
