Here we go! Finally the day has arrived - my very first track day. I've been prepping the car like crazy and it's running good! Getting to drive at an iconic track like Road Atlanta is just an amazing experience. Everyone at the Jzilla Track Day event was extremely friend and it felt like a big family. My instructor Yung Ngo was amazing. He helped me learn the line quickly and kept giving me tips/feedback throughout all my sessions as I improved. We didn't time my laps but from watching the videos I was running around 2:10 a lap which leaves me with a ton of room to improve and learn more about my car and improve my driving skills.
I like creature comforts so over the last month I've added AC back to the car, installed a new CD Player, got a steering wheel cover, and seat covers. The steering wheel was very worn out so the cover was a temporary solution until I can get an aftermarket steering wheel. Same with the seat covers, will eventually upgrade the seats but these are good for now.
Finally found a car I liked after watching Craigslist for months. 94 Miata that's had a lot of love put into it. Came with a lot of cool mods already done. Missing a radio and AC.
